In the age of mass information transfer
In the age of mass information transfer, billions of dollars worth of multimedia content are migrating to new mediums. These mediums have varying degrees of security and utilize certain types of technology that may be looked upon unfavorably by their producers. In this case the BitTorrent has produced a new type of content transfer method that drastically reduces the strain on networks and associated costs. The use of the BitTorrent’s peer to peer data transfer software contributed to the large scale pirating of copyrighted material that occurred. BitTorrent took a hard position against the piracy and proved its integrity. This integrity coupled with the efficiency of the data transfer tool and changing supply channels aroused the interest of WB. The firm was an innovator in the industry in terms of marketing and content delivery. After extensive negotiations BitTorrent and WB reached an official agreement whereby BitTorrent would supply Warner Brother’s digital content using the open source tool encrypted by dynamic DRM. This was the first agreement of its kind and was dependent on BitTorrent’s business choices and long term strategy.

The Truth About Christi
Christi is an optimistic ray of dreaming joy. Endlessly positive, she infects this world with her sincere smiles. Glowing eyes light a fire within my soul, calling the flame of spiritual growth. Her hands care for broken bodies, her ears listen to troubled minds and her lips speak buoy up burdened shoulders. Christi is virtue, she is pure, she is the cure.
She works 12 hour shifts with seemingly infinite vigor and cheer. She is an amazing mother an ambitious adventurer. Christi knows the world and the people of the world. Her Spanish is excellent. I imagine her translating in the ER brining an unexpected comfort.

Arrival
Just recently do I feel like I have "arrived" at motherhood. All the shoulders of my t-shirts have mushed up food and slobber on them, I carry a bag of cheerios with me everywhere I go, and I am constantly tidying up board books, stuffed animals and blocks. Welcome, Christi. Enjoy the ride!

Dos Cosas
1. Today River officially joined the team of those kids that escape their parents' arms and goes sprinting (crawling) for the steps up to the podium in sacrament meeting!
2. Tomorrow we are taking the redeye to Germany, spending Tuesday in Frankfurt, then meeting my sister in Amman Jordan. She's been doing a study abroad there all summer so we're going over to see what she's been up to. We'll also check out all the Biblical sites in Israel and then either head to Greece or Switzerland. We'll try to get to the internet to keep you updated on our adventure!

In the Eyes of a Kid
I think there's truly nothing better than being a mother.... You feel like a million dollars, like the most important person in the world every time your baby looks you in the eyes and gives you a humongous smile! And motherhood gives you an excuse to act like a kid all day, play, laugh, dance, investigate bugs, eat food with your fingers, roll around on the floor, etc.
I'll try to post a pic of this amazing neon orange bug Z found, but currently we've exceeded our picture limit (already!).
In the meantime check out Rio's significantly improved crawling skills on YouTube!

Rio Update - 8 Months!
Can you believe our little angel is eight months old already!?!? This is such a fun age - he is so active and entertaining and curious.
He is moving around really well - becoming more strong with his crawling, and a pro at walking all around the room so long as there's a piece of furniture or a rock or tree stump to hold on to.
Its obvious his little brain (actually, not so little - 18.5in 95th%ile) is an absolute sponge, soaking up information about how to do thing, how things work, Spanish, English, sign language, etc. He does seem to be on a bit of a reading-hiatus right now - no time to sit still, too much to explore!
His favorite sounds to make are the "th" and this throaty-German-engine sound that I find quite difficult to reproduce. No wonder they say now's the time to teach them Chinese and Xhosa!
He still has massive thunder thighs and a scrumptious cottage cheese dimpled bum - all the better for all these immunization shots he has to endure - didn't even cry the last time we went! He is hanging on to his growth curve, currently at 29.5in tall (95th%ile) and 21#4oz weight (75th%ile).
His hair is growing in quite unevenly but is such a pretty blond color, and he definitely inherited his dad's sparkly blue eyes and big wide smile. His first tooth is about half way up, and it hasn't seemed to bother him much at all - such a happy, easy going boy!
He has taken up an interest in eating whatever we're eating (but don't even try to trick him with mashed carrots or beets!) - so far he loves avocado, bananas, heirloom tomatoes, sweet potatoes, bagel crisps, Stoneyfields whole milk organic yogurt, chicken tortilla soup, blueberries, Barbara's Bakery cereal, fruit/protein shakes, and sweet'n'sour rice. Now that he's eating some solids, I'm soooooo thankful that he's so well pottytrained already - there's no way I'd want to deal with diapers full of his new stinky solid poop! Its so nice to just let him do his business on the toilet and then flush it down!!!

Weekend Getaway
Because so many of my fellow nurses go on vacation during July and August, there's always a severe shortage in staff, which results in the offering of doubletime for any extra shifts we pick up. Its a wonderful opportunity to make a lot of money in a little time, but can become almost too difficult to resist! Last week I worked at least part of every day, and over the next 8 days, I'll do the same . But, hey, the extra income will more than pay for our next vacation! Which starts next Monday night, but is still in the planning stages. We are flying to Amman, Jordan to pick up my sister from her study abroad, but aren't sure where we'll be going from there... Egypt, Isreal, Turkey, Greece, Germany, Switzerland...??? Any suggestions?
